Peter Eastgate has become the youngest WSOP Main Event Champion ever.   Eastgate from Odense in Denmark, broke Phil Hellmuth’s age record which has stood for the last 19 years.

Eastgate dropped out of college to embark on a poker career.  A move reportedly supported by his parents.  This would probably be considered quite unusual to get such backing, but it sure has paid off.  We look forward to watching Eastgate’s progress over years to come.
